Only 15, Nakisha takes care of her younger siblings but dreams of leaving Honduras to go to the US. Neighbourhood gang violence and recruitment make her fear for her brother and sister. "We're told not to leave the house after 10pm because if you do and you get killed, then it's your fault, they'll say." Nakisha and her mother attempted to escape once before but were sent back. For now, she waits for her mother's return from Belize.
