“My school is ruined” - Nepal’s education in jeopardy after quake | UNICEF

Education for nearly one million children in Nepal is in jeopardy. The two major earthquakes and aftershocks that hit the country and surrounding areas devastated over 24,000 classrooms. In the severely-affected districts of Gorkha, Sindhupalchok and Nuwakot, it’s estimated that more than 90 per cent of schools have been destroyed.
