United Nations - "21st Century", is a half-hour, monthly news magazine series produced by United Nations Television. We focus on under-reported stories from around the world, told through the personal experiences of those affected. Featuring balanced reporting and often unique access, this award-winning series covers issues from human rights to climate change; from combatting terrorism to the global migration issue; from health to development . This month, the 107th Episode brings stories from South Carolina and Gerogia, USA,on the legacy of slavery and a people's struggle to hold on to their land and culture; and a story from the Dominican Republic on a new holistic approach which is opening up fresh possibilities for excluded sugar-cane plantation workers.
