70% Chance of Recession in 2020. Heres why

Many people are asking will there be a recession in 2020 and the answer is probably. At this point I would say there is a better chance we will have a recession in 2020 than we don’t have recession in 2020. Many people are asking will the stock market crash in 2020. The answer to that is a little more complicated. See in my opinion the next recession will not be nearly as deep or wide as say the 2008/2009 recession.
The next recession will probably cause a slight stock market crash, but i don’t think we will have a 50% drop or something like that. Probably more of a modest 15-30% decline. It is possible we don’t have a recession in 2020, but it isn’t looking very likely.
If you are buying stocks in 2019 make sure you are being very disciplined with your buys. Don’t just throw money at any stocks. Be very selective with your buys. You may want to consider some dividend stocks. I have been buying way more dividend stocks lately. Also make sure you are staying cash heavy. Not just for protection if you lose your job or business, but also so you can purchase assets for cheap.
