Carlos Alvarado Quesada: We need to profoundly change how we talk about the environment

Costa Rican president Carlos Alvarado Quesada came to Davos last year to talk about his nation’s approach to the environment. He highlighted the indigenous American’s intrinsic understanding of ecological balance and called for a profound reimagining of how we talk about the environment. The only way to win the fight to save the environment is to touch the hearts - and markets - of people who are indifferent on these issues.
