Joomla is open source software. One of the benefits of open source software is that you can (and are allowed to) read and change the source code. It's very easy to make small changes in Joomla's core code. It's even easier to lose your changes by just upgrading!In this presentation Peter will show you why you should not use core hacks, some methods to change Joomla without using core hacks, and how to fix core hacks (done by other people).
