The United Nations Department of Public Information is putting web accessibility for persons with disabilities front and centre in the development of websites to benefit everyone interested in the work of the UN.
In 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights brought human rights into the forefront of the global conscience. 
Since then, at the United Nations, we have pushed hard to protect these rights in our daily work.
