The United Nations Department of Public Information is putting web accessibility for persons with disabilities front and centre in the development of websites to benefit everyone interested in the work of the UN.
In 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights brought human rights into the forefront of the global conscience.
Since then, at the United Nations, we have pushed hard to protect these rights in our daily work.

But what if our work could not be understood? What if it could not be read?
Or even seen?
And what if our voices could not be heard?

Are you sure your message is reaching everyone? 1 in 7 people in the world lives with a disability. Make sure your work is inclusive and accessible.
