This video features On the Rise, a series of panels and interviews organized last February on the occasion of Black History Month. The events were put together by alumni Alexjandria Edwards and Matthew Maxwell, both from Unsung Heroes, with the support of the Academic Affairs, Diversity, and Inclusion Departmen at Berklee Valencia.

For a week, students at Berklee Valencia enjoyed a variety of activities including concerts, workshops, and panels with such industry leaders as Prince Charles Alexander, Penny Ford, and Pam Lewis-Rudden, who shared their experiences with the Berklee community.
