To perform the shoulder PNF pattern D1:

1. Make a fist with your hand and your palm facing you. Put your fist across your chest in front of the opposite shoulder.
2. Bring your fist down across your body while opening your fist and rotating your hand until your hand is open down by your side with your palm facing behind you. Then reverse coming back up.
