The Millennial Revolution Yet to Come: Grant Ridley at TEDxYouth@TyneBridge

Former Manchester & National Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 and the UK's first ever BTEC Student of the Year Grant Ridley is currently qualifying as a teacher whilst studying English Education at the University of Sunderland. His talk looks at how many young people feel confused and let down in this current world climate, but many also feel extremely positive and determined to fight for and lead change. There is a major need for a revolution led by young people: a revolution in education, a revolution in business, and a revolution in life.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
