The Sebangau Forest is home to the endangered Borneo orangutan - but in just 60 years, numbers have declined 60% due to habitat destruction. So the Borneo Nature Foundation is aiming to plant 1 million trees. So far, they’ve put over 30,000 seedlings in the ground and established community seedling nurseries in villages - training locals how to take care of trees, while creating green jobs and empowering women.
