Complete transcript: What is histamine intolerance?
Histamine levels get too high, and they get into the brain, causing symptoms like anxiety, depression, irritability, anger, rage, and even a feeling that life is hopeless. This is why if you've ever taken Zyrtec, you'll notice that it reduces your anxiety and your dark thoughts, too. You can naturally reduce your histamine levels by eating whole fresh foods and by avoiding leftovers, fermented foods, and alcohol. Start to notice which foods trigger your anxiety and which foods reduce it. It's also helpful to be aware of your stress levels and avoid toxic relationships, chronic stress, and arguments trigger an inflammatory response in your body, causing your body to release histamine, so make sure you have clear boundaries.
