More than 2.2 million Kenyans are set to benefit from free national health insurance cover targeting 1 million expectant mothers over a period of one and half years.

Health principal secretary Dr. Nicholas Muraguri said the cover will target expectant mothers, people from needy backgrounds, the elderly and those living with severe disabilities .
