As an adopted child, Leanna always dreamed of her own family. When she and her husband Jeff heard the devastating news that they were unable to have children the old-fashioned way, they sought out alternative ways to start their family. After the cost and process of traditional adoption derailed their plans, they learned about embryo adoption and began the process of starting their family. Leanna and Jeff adopted 6 embryos and now the high-school sweethearts are parents to 2-year-old daughter Olivia, a child Leanna was able to carry to term.
