7 Reasons We Hurt the Ones We Love

Have you ever shouted at your parents, and then immediately regret it? Or perhaps you lied to your partner’s face or ignored their calls? Dr. Deborah South Richardson, a psychology professor at Georgia Regents University has stated, “The people who are likely to cause us harm of any sort are likely going to be people we know.” Hurting the ones that are closer to us is something that happens naturally for many different reasons.
