The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) hosted a First Friday Google+ Hangout (April 3, 2015) focusing on the latest release of the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps ().
The Rankings provide a snapshot of health in virtually every county in the nation and since their first release in 2010, have inspired many diverse communities to take action to improve their residents’ health. This rich resource of local-level data further illustrates that where we live matters to our health, through such influences as income inequality, unemployment, education, child poverty, community safety, diet and exercise, and more. On April 3, Hangout participants offered their take on the latest Health Rankings and insight on national trends, and discussed steps that communities are taking to improve health.
This event is part of the #RWJF1stFri series – a platform to inform RWJF audiences about lessons our partners are learning as we work to build a Culture of Health. Learn more at www.rwjf.org/firstfriday.
