Afraid of Bats in an Abandoned Underground Fort

I still cannot believe a bat almost flew into me! That had to be one of the craziest things that has happened because bats are just one of those flying animals you never want to touch. We explored some abandoned underground fort bunkers. They were super cool, but eerily quiet. We also climbed the super tall Astoria Column and visited Fort Clatsop where the kids got Junior Ranger patches because it's a National Park. We happened to be driving by a house with TONS of Elk sitting in their front yard--completely random but super cool! We visited Shipwreck Beach and we even almost walked on a snake that was sitting on our hiking trail! Today's vlog is full of excitement.
