The bachelor degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering is designed to meet the demand for engineers that will power Ireland's and Europe's future economy through the use of smart technologies. The degree programme has been developed in partnership with industrial employers, to meet the demand for engineering graduates with strong skills in software and hardware engineering, along with corresponding design and analysis abilities. This degree programme will build upon and further grow the reputation of the many UL graduates in the Electronic and Computer Engineering discipline who have achieved high-ranking positions in industry as well as founding and developing their own companies.
