I had never grown up seeing examples of Asians with natural waves or curly hair so I was absolutely *SHOCKED* to discover I had decent waves using the Curly Girl Method for the first time! The before and after was insane! Since it takes a few specific products to prep your hair, I wanted to share this easy beginners wash routine which shows each product to use and exactly how I used them to create no-heat waves by taking advantage of my hair's natural texture. This is how I went from straight to wavy/curly hair in literally one wash.

For a little hair background, I am ethnically Korean and my curl type is 2A. It has bleached highlights so it has higher porosity. Let me know if you have any hair questions in the comments!
