The video widely shared on social media, shows hospital staff dancing to the tunes of Bollywood numbers at the function even as patients continue to suffer. "There were no doctors to attend patient. Several patients were waiting for assistance in delivery but no staff was present," told attendant of a patient.

उत्तर प्रदेश में अस्पतालों और डॉक्टरों की लापरवाही कोई नई बात नयी है। ताजा मामला बुलंदशहर के जिला अस्पताल का है, जहां अस्पताल में मरीजों का इलाज करने के बजाए डॉक्टर डीजे की म्यूजिक पर ठुमके लगाते रहे। अस्पताल में शादी का जश्न देर रात तक चलता रहा। देर रात तक इस शादी में तेज आवाज में फिल्मी गीत बजते रहे और डॉक्टर और अस्पताल के स्टॉफ ठुमके लगाने में व्यस्त रहे। जबकि अस्पताल में भर्ती मरीज रातभर परेशान रहे। इलाज के लिए डॉक्टरों का इंतजार करते रहे, लेकिन डॉक्टरों को तो दावत खाने से फुर्सत ही नहीं थी।
