In 2013, the University of Cambridge opened its first-ever overseas research centre. The Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore, or CARES, began as a centre for decarbonisation research, but has now become a multidisciplinary hub, investigating everything from digital transformation to the science of learning. And, over the past decade, CARES has applied its innovative research to make real impacts for Singapore and beyond.
