The method works like photosynthesis in plants. It uses the sun’s energy to convert CO2 and water into bioethanol. A zero-carbon and 100% renewable fuel and unlike typical biofuel production, this process doesn’t take up valuable farmland. Researchers at the University of Cambridge have developed an artificial ‘leaf’ when exposed to sunlight, it combines CO2 and water into fuel in a single step. #fuel #car #renewableenergy #co2 #cambridge
