CHEESE PUFF MUFFIN SAVORY tandem food treat you & your fur baby can both share! It's a simply scrumptious recipe that you can bake and share with your pup.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups Grated Cheese
1 cup Plain Flour (use whole wheat flour if preferred)
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
¾ - 1 cup lactose free milk – mixture should be wet
1 egg
METHOD
Add flour baking powder and cheese into a large bowl – combine thoroughly
Add egg to cup of milk and whisk together with a fork
Make a well in middle of dry ingredients and add enough egg & milk mixture to make the mixture wet.
Spoon into pre greased muffin trays until half way full.
Bake at 200C or 350F for 10-15 minutes
Cheese puffs will rise and should spring back when touched on top.
Turn out onto a cake cooling rack
These are best eaten warm. You can slice & butter or just eat them whole.
We recommend a half muffin portion size for a small dog and no more than one muffin for a big dog as this is a treat food and should only be a sometimes food.
