In this video I show how to make a useful, functional dollhouse, which can be used as an organizer and a wall art :)
You know I like to create not just cute, but also useful things. And this one is exactly what I like :) Hang this miniature flat house on the wall and use it as a phone holder, organizer for jewelry and stationery and even as a great place to hide your money :) Yep! It's multifunctional! And yep – it's super-cute! :)
I made my flat dollhouse on the canvas (80 cm x 40 cm). But you can use a sheet of thick cardboard or any hard surface.
About architecture... LOL I made one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room, a kitchen and a small yard. You can place rooms in different ways, add some or just make one at all – it's up to you.
For the bedroom I show how to make a miniature bed (which can be used as a pocket for storing pencils, brushes, pens etc), miniature nightstands with plants, miniature cabinet (as a calendar) and miniature table lamp :)
For the bathroom I show how to make a miniature bath with foam (which can be used as a stud earrings organizer, or you can pin some notes to it), miniature sink with mirror and hangers (for hanging bracelets, necklaces, ear phones, keys etc.)
For the living room – DIY miniature couch (classic three-cushion couch (or sofa) – use it as a ring holder and organizer), phone holder (as a “TV stand”) and miniature table with tablecloth and food (which is a hiding place for money) :)
Kitchen includes – miniature fridge (notebook), stands (sticky notes), square kitchen table (sticky notes). And yes – DIY miniature microwave :)
And a small green yard with DIY miniature bench and classic white fence :) This fence is perfect for hanging earrings, watches, phone chargers etc).
Good Luck!
