Speaking at the opening of a 4-day forum on outer space affairs in Dubai, the Director of UN Office of Outer Space Affairs, Simonetta Di Pippo, said international cooperation and long term planning are ‘essential’ to build space infrastructure, adding that it is ‘vital to create access opportunities and both strengthen and enhance available opportunities for accessing space.’
