Over half a billion children - nearly 1 in 4 - are living through a nightmare. Every day children in countries affected by conflict or disaster are being forced to flee their homes, left trapped behind conflict lines, and at increased risk of disease, violence and exploitation.
UNICEF was established seventy years ago to provide life-saving support to vulnerable children in the aftermath of WW2. The emergencies faced today by the most vulnerable children threaten to undermine immense progress made over the last seven decades. Children in emergencies often lack access to medical care, quality education and proper nutrition - too many children are being left behind. We will do whatever it takes to protect children no matter where they are in the world. #foreverychild, a future. Learn more about our work:
