Located on the river Main, Frankfurt is the financial capital of Continental Europe and the transportation centre of Germany. It is also home of the European Central Bank and the German Stock Exchange. Frankfurt was a city state, the Free City of Frankfurt, for nearly five centuries, and was one of the most important cities of the Holy Roman Empire.
Our guided walking tour is about 4.35 miles (7 km) long, starts at Frankfurt Cathedral and covers most attractions and historic sites of Frankfurt.
