Delivered on March 18, 2006. Bron Taylor is Samuel S. Hill Professor of Religion and Environmental Ethics at the University of Florida. He has written widely about the religious and ethical dimensions of environmental movements around the world, including in his most recent book, Dark Green Religion: Nature Spirituality and the Planetary Future (University of California Press, 2010). He is also the editor of the award winning Encyclopedia of Religion and Nature (2005) and of the Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture (since 2007).
