In this video, we can see how U.S. Marines and Australian soldiers conduct heliborne assaults, company live fire attacks, fire support and more during Exercise Koolendong 14 and Talisman Sabre 15.

The focus of Exercise Koolendong is to establish a 4th Marine Regiment and Australian Defense Force combined headquarters element, directing ground, aviation and logistics capabilities in austere conditions, directing all maneuver elements in execution of the exercise.

Exercise Talisman Sabre is designed to improve U.S. – Australian combat readiness and interoperability, maximize combined training opportunities and conduct maritime prepositioning and logistics. The exercise allows U.S. – Australian forces to work together and further enhance the key partnership the two nations share in their pursuit of defense in the region.
