Homemade Gingerbread House | Merry Christmas!

The tradition of baking , building and decorating a gingerbread house during Christmas season is one of the most fun Christmas time activities..
The gingerbread cookies are made very easily. Royal icing is used as the glue and cement to hold the house upright and to attach the candy toppings.
What candy do you like on your gingerbread house? I love peppermint swirl candy, which is not available this year for some reason.
