This documentary tells the story of how a team of Cambridge University researchers and singers worked to rescue the first act of Liszt's opera from a manuscript that was assumed to be fragmentary and illegible. Alongside musical segments and interviews, it shows how the music was rescued and brought to life.

The world premiere of a scene took place on Thursday 15th June 2017 as part of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World
