First off sometimes you might be painting in an area that you need to go heavy with the paint. But key blurring is there you can end up building up enough paint that you have to drip. Best to do is to blow on it. This point you have already messed up what you were going to do. So to stop it before it does anymore damage is what you need. Come back previous color you know give it enough time to dry and just wipe it back out. Catching your drip keeping your eye opened on all the paints build up and try not to make it happen its going to be the best way to avoid them and once your there only thing to do is stop is just blow on and take the finger and smush it out before it gets out of control and cross this over different colors where you will end up having this fix all sorts of stuff and cleaning it up the previous distinct color. Sometimes drips could somewhat work good in your piece maybe across the bottom where they just run all the way down the wall but ultimately just keeping the paint of then taking your time and paying attention to how the paint is building up on the wall would keep you away from crazy drips. Another good point for drips is you are going to be doing tight corners tight details don't use fat caps just stay with the outlines so everything sprays a little thinner and is nice and clean and avoid drips that way also. Come back then with that silver not to ride out.
