How to Configure and Use vpnbook in Windows 10

How to Configure and Use VPNBook in Windows 10:-To configure and use VPNBook, you can either go with the regular PPTP or OpenVPN.
Once downloaded, install the OpenVPN client like any other software. After installing it, head over to VPNBook, select the tab “OpenVPN” and download the certificate bundle of your choice. In my case I’m downloading the US certificate bundle. Depending on what bundle you choose, you cannot use P2P when using VPNBook. Also, copy the username and password appearing at the bottom of the tab; we are going to need that information.

Free VPN’s are often overcrowded and servers break down easily . If your server stops what does Windows do immediately? – reconnect at all costs using your own IP. Setting up without a ‘fall down plan’ leaves your IP and info in the wind.
2) DNS leak. If your using your ISPs DNS and they use transparent DNS proxy then your not as secure as you think . Get a VPN provider that has addressed this issue or learn to change your DNS (and unchange it)
3)WebRTC (google it then check your browsers -all of them)
4) No point having VPN if you forgot to run it .Get it to run as default on boot and disable when you don’t need it. (I keep mine open if disabled, least I forget)
5) Not all providers (free or paid) are equal and lots make you believe you are secure when your not . Read up the above points.
