We took the standard stitch for the Chinese Ladder braid and switched it up a bit. You know how you basically reverse the stitching to turn a French Braid into a Dutch Braid? We are going to do the same thin here with the Chinese Ladder Braid.

To reverse the stitching, you take the hair UNDER the ponytail, instead of over it. Be sure to watch the hair tutorial carefully to see what I am talking about.
This may be a hard hairstyle to DIY at first, especially on the back of the head so it may be a great idea to practice this on a friend first!
