My name is Tweet Boogie, I represent the south Bronx. I had my first hip hop crew at 14. I've done some work with Jay Z, Mary J. Blige, Destiny's Child. Travel all over the world because I teach hip hop culture and right now I'm ready to teach you some dances for the club. Let's get it started. Now you're in a club and you're at a party and all of a sudden you hear this music comes on. Now you feel like you're on an island, so now the mood changes and now it's no longer pop music and it's no longer R&B and it's no longer hardcore rap. Now, they have Jamaican music playing. Now, everybody's doing this dance. This dance is called the Wind. I'm going to teach you how to Wind and it's actually from the dance style called dance hall. So, what you want to do is feet apart, you want to bend your knees, got to get pretty low. Get pretty low so now, hands on your hips, so you want to take your hips to the right, to the right. Make sure you got a nice little arch so everybody can see your hips go to the right. They need to come forward, boom. Good. Now they need to come to the left, boom. Now they need to go back, boom. You can have your hands to guide you if you don't know. Now you don't want to use your entire body like you're doing a hula hoop. You only want to isolate your hips so the deeper you sit, the better control that you should have on your hips. So they go to the right, to the front, to the left, to the back. Good, when the go to the back make sure you have an arch in your back ladies especially. Good, you don't want to look like this, like you're going to tip over. So once again. To the right, forward, left, to the back, and cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, dollar. Cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, dollar. Now you see me isolating my hips but it should be smooth. So you want to go in a singular, circular motion, good. And the deeper you sit, good. You can only move your hips, and this right here is Winding. You can drop your arms, make sure your low. Not too low, got to keep it tasteful. So, I need the DJ, to play my dance hall song. You got dance hall. And this is Sean Paul, but, when you so he's not here either. So, you're going to bend your knees, hands on your hips, good. Make sure it's a nice deep bend, bounce. Five, six, seven, eight to the right, forward, to the left, to the back. Make sure you arch side, forward, to the left, to the right. And five, six, seven, eight and the right forward, left, back, right, forward. Left, back, now slow. And slow. You have to go through all of the positions, good. Now this is slow Wind. Slow Wind. Good, now you got to do it faster. And boom, and make sure it's in a circular, movement boom. You can drop your arms, you can place them on your thighs, good. And you can lean back, not too far back, don't fall. It's a good workout for your thighs, but that's pretty much it. And that there is how you Wind.
