In this video I show how to make super adorable DIY Watercolor Christmas Greetings Cards. Original way to send Holiday cheer and save space on your fireplace :)
I show three easy designs which you can do in normal size, by the way.
I start with Christmas ornaments card. All you need is a piece of paper (3x2.5 cm, I used light blue), a piece of watercolor paper (or cardstock), watercolour (darker and lighter shades of blue), black gel ink pen, sticky craft gems (rhinestones) and glitter nail polish. If you don't have rhinestones, or you want to make this card in regular size, you can use glitter paper instead or sequins (three for mini card and bunch for a big one).
The second Xmas card is shaped like a Christmas ornament. You'll need: watercolor paper, red and white watercolor, gold acrylic paint (or gold gel ink pen) and a sewing thread. I covered the whole card with gold glitter nail polish to make it more shimmering. And the coin I traced had about 2 cm diameter. Just a tip – drip a little drop of nail polish on the bow's knot, so it will not untie ;)
And the third DIY Christmas Card – is a miniature gingerbread house with window and a Christmas tree “inside” :) You'll need a watercolor (or markers, or pencils etc), clear tape, tiny piece of clear plastic bag (for window) and black gel ink pen :) And again I covered “snow” on the roof and floor of the house with silver holographic nail polish.
If you have troubles with writing small text – you can just print it or just draw a little heart ;) Because all we need is love ;)
