Laurene Powell Jobs, MBA ‘91, is the recipient of this year’s annual Ernest C. Arbuckle Award. Stanford GSB recognized Powell Jobs for her dedication to fighting income inequality through her organization, @EmersonCollective, which uses philanthropy and policy to tackle some of society’s most oppressive systems.
As she accepted the honor, awarded by Dean Jon Levin, Powell Jobs encouraged alumni and students to “be more just and honest and kind and true and loving, not only in our places of work, but in every aspect of our lives. I know we can, and we must.”
