If you want to learn English with movies I’m going to show you the best way to do it! In this English lesson you’ll work on your American English pronunciation by analyzing a scene from the movie Ant Man and The Wasp! We’ll work together to help you improve your English speaking by showing you the reductions, linking, melody and simplification that the native English speakers are using in this movie scene. When we learn English with movies something important is happening—you’re learning from native speakers while having fun! You have the opportunity to learn why their English sounds fast and you can work repeatedly to mimic the sounds they’re making. This is absolutely the key making your englsih speaking sound more native: training like a musician or athlete! This will be different than your English training that has been from a typical text book. It’s more akin to learning English through conversation. Learning English through movies taps into something deep: learning English through story.
