Asteroids are ancient relics that hold clues to how our solar system formed. NASA has a small fleet of spacecraft that will fly to small asteroids throughout our solar system. OSIRIS-REx is an important part of this story and will collect a sample from asteroid Bennu on Oct. 20 to bring back to Earth. Dr. Lori Glaze, NASA's Planetary Science Division director shares her excitement for this historic event.
