Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms and grandmothers out there! We are super appreciative to Best Fiends for partnering with us on this special vlog for you! This day is one of my most favorite days of the year! Why is that? Because Shaun and the kids do their "very best" to make sure it is a day where I don't have to worry about schedules, cooking, cleaning, refereeing, morning and nighttime routines, etc? No, it isn't even all of those things being taken care of. Yes, I love the hand drawn cards and the gifts that I get from them, too, yet it isn't all of those things that I enjoy the very most either! I sure enjoy all the personal time the kids give me, but it isn't that either. Well, then... what is it?
I love Mother's Day because I get to reflect on my own mother, and my grandmothers who have passed on, and what I love most about them all. Then I get to hug and hold each of my own children, cherishing the very best of motherhood. It's those giggles, hugs, kisses, and "I love you, mommy!" statements that I love the very most!
