Arriving at a new school, in a new city, perhaps in a place where you don't know anyone yet, can produces some nerves. And having to move all your stuff on top of that? No fun. Except in Rochester.
A cappella groups, brass bands, jugglers, and unicycles greet first-year students and their families in the parking lot, and that's only the beginning. As cars arrive at the dorms, each one is greeted by a chorus of cheers from student workers who are ready and waiting to unload all of your belongings and deliver them to your room in a matter of minutes.
It's all part of the move-in day experience in Rochester and we have it down to a science. It's the first among many traditions that will make this place feel like home before you know it.
