The Non-Proliferation Treaty aims for nuclear non-proliferation, nuclear disarmament, and the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The NPT Preparatory Committee in 2019 is preparing for a major review of the Treaty in 2020. Member States as well as civil society are actively participating in the session to make their voices heard.
