Samsung has spent the last couple of years being infamous for its gimmicks. From its failed air gestures, to edge features that nobody cared about in the first iteration, the company has spent years maturing. We've seen tremendous improvements in its newer products, as of the launch of devices like the Galaxy S6. Still, with the Galaxy Note 7, everyone has jumped the gun and called the Iris Scanner a gimmick. For a moment, we felt the same way, up until we started using it.
