The Society of Women Engineers hosted 95 young girls from the Rochester area for a pirate-themed afternoon of exploring science and tech. Girls in elementary and middle school disassembled computers, designed popsicle-stick bridges, made prosthetic hook-hands and more, mentored by SWE members from all disciplines.
