I was chronically undereating for my body and activity needs between the ages of 18 and 32. Since I wasn’t eating enough by the time I finished dinner, my body would *still* be hungry so naturally, I’d indulge on dessert and keep eating. I came to accept I was a salad and cookies kinda girl but it always made me bummed that I lacked the will power to JUST be a salad girl and be 5 lbs lighter.

It was a sucky cycle of low self esteem.

I’m still a salad and cookie girl but I have one cookie and am satisfied and happy because I ate plenty of carbs earlier in the day! Once I started tracking, I ate more nutrient dense foods during the day and rarely binged at night because I was full! I was satisfied!

Over time, I’ve dropped two full jean sizes by consistently eating more and exercising less than the days when I was an instructor at Barry’s Bootcamp in Boston. As a certified personal trainer, I knew the exercise piece of things but it wasn’t until I became a FASTer Way To Fat Loss nutrition and fitness coach that everything made sense.
