Forget trading on the beach. There are countless ads promoting the idea that you can trade from a resort, making money while on vacation. But honestly, trading on vacation is far from ideal. If you’re on vacation, just be on vacation.

The beach environment itself isn’t suitable for trading. You’ll deal with sand getting into your laptop’s ports, screen glare from the sun, and sometimes even overheating issues. I’ve lived it for 20 years in Florida, and it’s not as glamorous as it sounds—especially without extra monitors or proper equipment.

To trade properly, be in an environment that supports your focus and success. You’ll be much less focused at the beach. If you’d like focus worksheets, send me a note saying “get focused,” and I’ll share resources on mentality and psychology.

Trading on the beach is just a selling point for a dream lifestyle, but it’s neither practical nor realistic. So, forget about it and focus on a setup that truly works for you.
