Trying to Make Money Day Trading Sucks for Most People

You might hate me for saying this, but day trading really sucks. If you're trying to make money consistently by trading stocks, day trading isn’t the best approach, especially if you’re new or a beginner.

Day trading is a much faster form of trading—you have to be quick, with precise entries and exits. You only have six and a half hours each day for the trade to move in your favor or lose value. There’s just not a lot of time.

If you’re managing something like twenty-five million dollars, you’re not going to put that amount on a single trade in day trading. Most people I see day trading are usually beginners or those trying to make a quick buck, so be careful.

Day trading can lead to bad habits, making you think it’s the only way to make money in the markets. It won’t teach you the right foundation or the correct approach to trading.
