Turin is a city and an important business and cultural centre in northern Italy. It is the capital city of Piedmont and was the first Italian capital from 1861 to 1865.
It is ranked third in Italy, after Turin and Rome, for economic strength and is also home to much of the Italian automotive industry.
Turin is well known for its Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neo-classical, and Art Nouveau architecture.
Our guided walking tour is about 5 miles (8 km) long, starts at Statuto Square, ends at Valentino Park and covers most attractions and historic sites of Turin.
