Natalie Barden and Kaylee Tyner both grew up in communities scarred by two of the deadliest school shootings in American history. Natalie lost her little brother Daniel in the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in 2012. Kaylee is a junior at Columbine High, where 13 students were murdered in 1999. Teen Vogue followed these students on their journey to Washington, D.C. where they met for the first time.
