United Nations - With 244 million international migrants nowadays, the world needs to rectify the current "toxic narrative" of migration, says the UN's migration chief, William Lacy Swing. In an interview with the UN News Centre on the heels of the UN Summit on Refugees and Migrants, during which the International Migration Organisation (IOM) became a part of the UN family, Mr. Swing called on the international community to show political leadership in dispelling the misconceptions surrounding migration, as well as combating the rising xenophobia in various parts of the world.
